Tommy’s Story
Adventure Blender came from a lifetime of living this kind of lifestyle—but also from choosing to change things along the way.
I grew up outside—skiing, biking, camping, always doing something. That carried into adulthood when I moved to Colorado and got deep into mountain biking, backcountry skiing, and anything that kept me moving. At one point, I stepped away from the typical path, moved into a van, and spent a year traveling the U.S., chasing riding spots and keeping life simple. That shift opened the door to something bigger.
Then I found kiteboarding—and that changed everything.
What started as a new challenge turned into seasons spent living and working in places like Florida, North Carolina, the Outer Banks, Mexico, Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Panama, Costa Rica, Mauritius, the Cook Islands, Sicily, and more—teaching kiteboarding while immersing myself in local communities and cultures. Along the way, I became a certified instructor and developed a passion for sharing these experiences with others.
Patty’s Story
Patty has been traveling and exploring from a young age—growing up, she traveled a lot with her parents around Europe, which sparked a lifelong love of adventure. After graduating from vet school, she decided to follow her passion for movement and travel, diving into kiteboarding, snowboarding, and yoga.
She’s kited and taught in Poland, Croatia, Sicily, Sardinia, Mexico, the Outer Banks in North Carolina, Florida, and the Cook Islands. Patty has worked and traveled all over the world—guiding adventures, connecting people to experiences, and helping create memories that last a lifetime.
Together, we built Adventure Blender from our shared passion for living life fully, exploring new places, and creating experiences that feel less like tours and more like traveling with friends.

We’d love for you to come along and experience this with us—whether it’s your first kiteboarding lesson, a van adventure, or a custom trip somewhere amazing.
Adventure Blender comes from both of us living this every day—not visiting it, not trying it out, but building our lives around it.
The best experiences aren’t just about the activity or the destination—they’re about the people you’re with and how it all feels while you’re there.
